On our Full-Time MBA, you will study core modules to build your foundation in business, and then shape your own elective and project portfolio to suit your personal academic and career ambitions. Our programmes require intensive study. As well as contact hours, you will be required to spend time preparing for lectures, undertaking background reading, working in groups, completing assessments (both individual and in groups) and revising for exams.
A significant amount of time will need to be allocated to career planning and development as well as to becoming an active contributor to the Business School community. This list is not exhaustive, but provides you with a flavour of what you can expect from your time as an Imperial student.
Work experience:
You will need a minimum of three years’ continuous relevant full-time work experience after graduation to apply for the Full-Time MBA. When assessing your application, we will look closely at your career progression in terms of roles and responsibilities, experience of managing projects and people, and how you have continued to develop your skills throughout your career to date.
Academic requirement:
A good undergraduate degree from a recognised university – typically at least a UK Second Class Honours or the international equivalent.
GMAT or GRE:
GMAT: overall score of at least 600 – although a stronger score will add more weight to your application.
GRE: minimum scores of 156 (new test) or 550 (old test) in the verbal, and 158 (new test) or 740 (old test) in the quantitative sections.
IELTS or TOEFL:
IELTS (academic): A minimum score of 7.0 with minimum scores of 6.5 in all elements
TOEFL iBT: A minimum score of 100 overall with minimum scores of 22 in all elements
