The Mandel School's Master of Science in Social Administration is a graduate-level degree in social work, ranked #9 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
The MSSA is equivalent to an MSW and is recognized as such by employers, state licensing boards, other universities, and the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Social work employment is projected to grow 16% by 2026, much faster than the average for all other occupations. As a national leader in social work education and research, the Mandel School prepares graduates who are eminently prepared to effect social change from the start. Our alumni are employed by schools, hospitals, governments, nonprofits and NGOs, financial service companies and micro-lenders, and even professional sports teams.
