谢菲尔德大学跨文化交流与国际发展文学硕士项目由语言文化系和地理系联合办学，旨在培养拥有跨文化交际能力的国际发展人才。谢菲尔德大学跨文化交流与国际发展文学硕士项目包含一个国际项目管理模块，融合了语言文化和地理学科，为学生开设很多交流研讨会。此外，学生也需修读一个南半球实地考察课程，近期考察地点是肯尼亚西部波克特地区和开罗郊外。
