香港中医药要有良好的发展，业界在专业上的自我增值是一个重要部份。香港浸会大学中医药学院开办中医学硕士学位课程，目的在于提高学员在中医药理论、临床及研究等各方面的专业能力。课程设计充分考虑香港的实际需要，通过中医药科目及专科的教学及专题研究，使学员能既博又专，在理论、临床及至科研等专业范畴得到全面提升。
