申请美国金工：哪些学校需要录制Video？

申请时需要录制video的学校
1.芝加哥大学
Master of Science in Financial Mathematics
形式： Video
Statement 申请系统里录制，回答问题1分半到两分钟。
问题：Please record a video clip explaining, in English, why you would like to attend the Financial Mathematics program at the University of Chicago. You should present yourself as you would in a job interview.
Tips:
利用好试录制的机会，重录的话会出现随机问题。
2.纽约大学
Masters in Mathematics in Finance
形式：二选一进行回答，录制好之后需要上传国外视频网站，并且在网申的第一页提供URL地址。
video应当回答以下问题中的一个：
1）描述一个充满挑战的项目或者经历，并阐述这个事件和你在定量金融领域的职业有什么样的关联。
2）如果你的职业目标属于定量金融中的一个特定领域，阐释为什么定这样的目标以及为什么这个目标是适合自己的。
需要注意的是申请的初步筛选主要依据的书面的个人陈述。因此，个人陈述应当包含申请人所有的背景和职业目标信息。视频的主要用途是筛选最终入选的申请人。不必介意视频和个人陈述会有重合的内容。
要求：录制视频仅限于申请全日制项目的学生，视频控制在5分钟以内
Tips：
视频虽然是optional的，但强烈建议学生录制； 录制方式不要太过于单一，要注重多种情景方式的运用；讲述的内容如果和个人陈述有重合，建议从新的视角阐述，语言要有所变换。
3.波士顿大学
Master of Science in Mathematical Finance
形式： 首先在网申Documents部分的 Program Materials会给出每个申请人独自的链接，打开跳转到Kira Talent website录制并上传Video。需要录制三个问题，每个问题准备30s 回答60s，并且可以实时检测在线状态的 只要网络连接一断开就自动提示connection lost 需要重没录完的题目。

Use three words to describe yourself.
If you can only gain one skill in the graduate program, what you would like to choose?
Who do you admire most and why?
If you need to prepare a meal to represent your culture, what would it be and why?

Tips：
第一题是固定的题目。有点长，三个小问。1是MF这个项目在你的理解里entail什么；2是你觉得在这个项目里你会undertake什么；3是你觉得你需要哪些steps来完成。但是第二题和第三题的题库不同，需要精心准备。
4.佐治亚理工学院
MS in Quantitative and Computational Finance
形式：网申Video
Supplemental版块录制， 两个问题总共需要录制 4分钟
问题：
Please review the questions and think about your answers. When you are ready to respond, click 'Record'.
1)Why are you interested in studying and working in the financial industry?
2)Describe your greatest strength and greatest weakness.
Tips:题目固定，童鞋们可以提前写好稿子，注意时间，不要超时。
申请后需要录制video的学校
康奈尔大学
Master of Engineering，Financial Engineering Concentration
形式：提交网申受理后发来录制video的链接， 登录录制5个问题，每个问题回答1分钟。
参考面经：
1.why Cornell？
2. What kind of work do you prefer? Such as: data, programming, analysis, etc.
3. Tell me one time you positively influenced your friends
4. Which company do you want to work for?
5. How would others describe you?
Question1: Why choose this program?

Tips:
五道问题，问完是直接回答没有准备时间，但是正是录制之前都有test session, 把握好练习的机会。另外在录制的时候很多小伙伴反应录制不了，所以提前备好VPN，开通更快的网速是非常有必要的。
