RSPH will only receive complete (except test scores and international transcripts) and verified applications from SOPHAS. RSPH is a participating school in SOPHAS (Schools of Public Health Application Service), a common application service. The initial phase of the application process is managed by SOPHAS. Once complete, The student application is forwarded to the RSPH Office of Admissions. If the student has specific questions related to degree programs, scholarship deadlines, decision letters, etc., contact the RSPH Office of Admissions at admit@sph.emory.edu. The applicant application to RSPH will go through three distinct stages from start to finish. Stage One is SOPHAS, SOPHAS (Schools of Public Health Application Service) is what is known as a Centralized Application Service or CAS. Twenty-five schools are currently participating in this service. This means that the student can apply to multiple SOPHAS schools and the student will only need to submit one application, one set of recommendation letters, and one set of transcripts. SOPHAS will hold the student application until the following criteria are met, Application is completed and submitted. This includes entering all the coursework, submitting a personal essay, and answering any supplemental questions each school of choice might include. All domestic transcripts are received. Two out of three recommendations have been submitted. SOPHAS will not hold the student application for the following items, Standardized test scores, International transcripts Stage Two: RSPH Admissions. After RSPH receives the student application from SOPHAS, an applicant account is created in the Emory student system, Online Pathway to University Students, All students will be emailed upon receipt of the application from SOPHAS with instructions on accessing the student OPUS account information.
