If I had to work as a volunteer, I think I would choose to do something with children. At this camp, the children had a chance to go to the countryside and do activities they don't get a chance to do in the city. My favorite activity was helping the children learn how to ride a horse. At first they were very nervous about being around the horses, but they soon overcame their fears and really enjoyed being around these beautiful creatures. It is very rewarding to give children an opportunity to do things they don't normally get a chance to do. I would like to volunteer to help children.

I love sports. That is, I love playing sports but I don’t like watching sports on TV. When I watch a sports game on TV, I actually get really bored. I think to myself, “I would rather being playing a sport than watching it on TV.” Granted, sometimes you can see some spectacular plays when you watch professional sports on TV, but in general I am bored watching other people play. My favorite part about sports is the competition. When I sit in my living room watching the game on TV, I don’t really feel a part of the competition. No matter how much I cheer, the players won’t hear me. I am not helping them win at all. I would rather be the one playing than watching.
