In our School of Software , we have held the Annual Programming Designing Contest for several years and it attracted many talents every year. During my two years (2003-2004) chairing the contest, I am really impressed with one undergraduate student winner, ***. Till now, I still holds really high remark for this student's project “Pizza: FUN E-Business Solution for short order foods”, “Pocket Medic Industrial Wireless Application to Hospitals Services”, and “CVS.Team Solution to Software Project Management”. The Pizza::FUN project implemented the function of ordering, advertising, selling, goods delivering, game, health knowledge and administration, proved to providing a successful full web solution for Pizza shop management. I remember the standard three-level architecture in the “Pocket Medic Industrial Wireless Application to Hospitals Services”. They introduce Server for data transmission and operational logic management;Database for data storage and case logic(SQL;Client for interaction of end users and doctors. I would say this structure is very useful in such kind of system and these students really have done great work. Then The CVS project. There project presents a quick, easy, effective solution to aid small corporations or independent free software team to develop short-term software projects and I find them quite applicable in some of our students developing teams.

Generally, Having carefully reviewed the architecture and implementation of those systems, I would say it is not easy for an undergraduate student to achieve that. As a matter of fact, ** is really a star among the undergraduate students for the projects he led and papers he published.

Meanwhile, Liu is not the kind of students who knows nothing but study. Instead, ** actively participated in many activities to develop his all-around character. As I know, he is thePresident of the Sun technique club in Nanjing University and Best Winner of the Debating Contest of *** University 2003.

Overall, I think *** is really outstanding as both a researcher and a person. Thus I would like to give this recommendation in my own name and hope that he would be successfully enrolled into his dreaming university.
