Bioengineering or Mechanical Engineering at the Lehigh University is looking for Ph.D. Students to work on NIH and NSF funded projects in Micro/NanoEngineering for Biology and Medicine.

The successful students will use combined experimental and computational methods to study characterize the interfacial phenomena at the micro/nano scale and in biological systems, micro/nanofluidic problems in BioMEMS/NEMS and nanomedicine.

成功申请的申请人将使用综合实验及计算方法等来研究在微/纳米级别范围和生物系统中定义界面现象的特征，以及在生物微电子机械系统及纳米医学领域研究纳米流体问题。

Current efforts focus on two emerging applications of bio-nanotechnology: Nanomedicine and Biosensing which involves and MEMS fabrication, surface functionalization, microfluidic chip testing, nanoparticle adhesion dynamics, cell manipulation, multiscale modeling, biofluid mechanics, and image-based simulation.
